My office has free coffee but it tastes disgusting. I'm not one to turn down free anything but with that.. I'll just go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.

July 4th really isn't too far away. Time to prepare my fireworks collection and blow some stuff up!

We have a huge fireworks display over our Lake every year. Looking forward to it this year

We have free office coffee, too, but it's terrible. I swing in for some good coffee every now and then.

I got a job offer today within Bank of America that I interviewed for last week. I start on 7/7 and I can't wait. Nice size pay raise which helps since my wife is still looking for work.

All settled in the new apartment. Now I'm back to annoy everyone with my hypermiling techniques.
My gas mileage SHOULD improve since I'm actually a few miles away from work now so my engine and trans will actually get warmed up for once.
Starting Sunday I'm on my week of vacation. Starting it off right and visiting my dad who is throwing a graduation party for my sister.

I may be moving in with my girlfriend sometime in August. I'll be a couple miles closer to work but half of the commute will be on a road that runs parallel to the highway with a 50mph speed limit. I'm thinking that my mileage may increase on that commute as I'm very rarely in "eco" mode on the highway now.

Thanks! She's moving in next week and I'm kind of hoping I'll need to use a trailer so I can finally haul something with the Jeep

I'm looking forward to living with her. One of the best parts is that I'll be saving about $200 in rent!

So we went to the Chevy dealer yesterday because my mom was trading in her Traverse for a new Malibu. The dealer had a gorgeous blue 2008 C6 Corvette Z06. Literally had 5k miles on it, and was a stick. I had my sister take a pic and send it to my girlfriend saying "look what Jimmy just bought". So now I have a huge story going on about how my dad and I are splitting payments(they wanted 50k for it....). Is that mean? lol

You should've taken it to the next level and brought it home for a test drive.

I'm loading up the KK with a trailer for the first time tomorrow afternoon. It's just a small utility trailer I'm going to use to move a love seat to my girlfriend's place, but I'm still (inexplicably) excited about it, haha.

If I could, I would have. The 427 and wider body makes it looks so much nicer! 500hp would be nice to have one day lol

Ever since I moved I have definitely been getting a few more looks with my Jeep.
My aunt says to me the other day that she didn't even know it was a Jeep. :ROTFL:

Just got back from a car show. If anyone lives in Central Jersey there is a car show every Friday in Somerville on Main Street.
Always a wide range of cars and trucks. Saw a 73 Plymouth Road Runner, A Plymouth Cuda, Dodge Viper, a Willy's Jeep and some other GM vehicles.

The Dodge Viper is definitely my dream car. I saw a new one at my dealer on the show room floor last year and I couldn't stop drooling over it.

This was a last generation Viper. It was lime green with a big spoiler.
I was pleased to see the new generation Viper the other day. That one was yellow.

I like Vipers. Pretty rare, but also fairly "common" on L.I. Especially where I live, just the other day there was a 66 Shelby Cobra sitting in front of my Outback. Spoke to the guy; said it was a replica, but he put a legit 427 big block in it.

LKW, if you're not picky for certain years, you can pick up the older(late 90s-early 2000s) pretty cheap. By me I think they go for around 20k or so. Quick, but by today's standards certainly not fast. You get a head turner though...

On a side note, after having a 102-103 fever for a week I'm starting to feel better :pepper:

Never knew A SRT-10 would be considered slow. I know I've heard they're hard to hook up from a dead stop. I still can't figure out if it's genius or stupid that they put the SRT-10 in those pickup trucks. A little fun fact about that truck is that the regular single cabs are 6 speed manual and the extended cabs are automatic.

I know the older ones aren't as expensive as they used to be. While every retired person around here has corvettes I'll be the Mopar guy. Someday..

I did sit in a SRT10 once at Carmax and they turned it on for me. Wouldn't let me drive it though. You could tell that thing had some power.

The brand new Vipers are fast, as are the mid 2ks and up like the previous generation. I was talking about the 90s-early 2k. They were fast back then, but by todays standards not so much. I like Vipers. Raw power with no driving aids(well not anymore...), make them monsters.

Now the SRT-10 Rams....that's pure genius. Fastest pickup in the world at the time. I think they're holding their value too. I know of 3 running around by me. Two 4-doors, and one 2-door.

Need some advice about a ZJ. Grandpa found a "clean" 98 ZJ, has a ton of options, but is still an I6 4.0. No idea which 4wd system. Has 111k miles on it. We're looking into it since my sister starts driving soon... Anything we should look into? How much would you say it's worth/how much would you pay for it?
