Installed the Provent (breather filter) last night. Nice little addition - Pretty simple install over by the battery. Tried it out today, it does it's job.

Appreciate the advice from everyone. Now to get it breathin like my 98 12 valve Cummins.

Over by the Battery. Hmmmm, that is where I was going to put the PermaCool Fuel Filter. I was looking on the passenger side for the Mann Provent.

Here's some pic's

I used a 36" HVAC tie, a ny-tie tensioner & some hose fittings leaving the OE hose intact. Also ran a line at the bottom down to an opening as a precaution; it's pulling a vacuum but what the heck.

*Convenient removal & reinstall

Looks good. What do you mean by the line at the bottom pulling a vacuum? Do you mean the drain? It is plugged isn't it?

Uhh, dude, you need to plug the end of the drain line. Otherwise you're sucking unfiltered air into your intake system, and also all the oil that the filter element has condensed out. You're hooked into the suck side of the turbo, it's going to pull air from wherever it can get it.

I wasn't trying to second guess you. I just didn't understand what you meant.
