How long have you had yours installed?

I've had mine on since May.

I will be picking mine up from the Jeep House tomorrow and installing it most likely tomorrow after work. Pretty excited to see how well it works with my manual tranny and CAI.

Yup. Dodge Dakota's with the 4.7 work as well.

Make sure you have the right size adapter.
It should work great, and you'll be able to test it out a little better than us automatic guys.

Which adapter do I need exactly? I'd hate to have to make two trips to the Jeep House

I hear ya... you need a 3inch To 3 inch adapter if you have a CAI.
Wherever you go, bring a tape measure, cuz the one I bought first said 3 inch to 3 inch, but it turned out to be 4 inch to 4 inch.
Might be able to find something at Home Depot, but I only had luck at the speed shop. Don't forget bigger clamps too.

I have a stock intake and am currently using a 3"-2.5" which is pictured below. I don't like how it is clamped, so I ordered a 3"-2.75" and 2.75" joiner pipe to see if it makes it any better. I also figured out that if you cut the nubs on the right side of the intake off, you can mount it right side up.

Does if defeat the purpose of the larger tb by using a coupling like that? I'd like to do this some day and was wondering if I needed a cai.

Installed my 4.7 TB this morning. I ended mounting it upside down for the time being, but may put it rightside up in the future. I was able to pick up a 3" - 3" intake couple at autozone for 8 bucks. As stated before, the throttle is much more responsive. I'll have to report back in a few days for MPGs and another review, but initial review is definitely good.

All you need now is a Hypertech! :grim:
Keep us updated since you're the only one I believe with this mod who also has a manual.

I started with this on Google.
08 Dodge 4.7 Throttle Body -spacer, but no luck there.
The "-spacer" eliminates all the throttle body "spacer" listings in Google.
This is the one I found it on.
08 Grand Cherokee 4.7 Throttle Body -spacer
After reading several threads about interchangeability...( See above post, which verified what I had read earlier.)
I then switched to "Images" on Google.(Google "shopping" brought up nothing)
Which brought me to E-bay...
Then once there I searched "08 Grand Cherokee throttle valve 4.7"
Which brought up this listing. "08 09 10 11 12 13 DODGE RAM 1500 PICKUP THROTTLE BODY THROTTLE VALVE ASSM 4.7L" (it is actually from an "08 Durango")

Which I jumped on.
Also beware not all RAM 1500 have a 4.7L, so include that in your search.

There are a couple listed for $100 there now.

Now mind you, I have been searching every day, sometimes twice or more each day, since Gageraid started this thread... Today I just got lucky and found one I was willing to pay the price of, not knowing if it will even work on my rig.
Remember I drive an 07 KA, which has many interchangeable parts with the 08+ KK.
I do not know if this is one of them 100%, but I am pretty sure it will work.

I can't take much credit since this mod showed up a few months or a year ago...
I definitely will say that I enjoy sharing information to others. Looks like some people are looking for a little power and mpg's, too. 8)
On another related note, the throttle body I got was pretty clean, but I wanted to clean it and the Walmarts no longer carry the throttle body cleaner spray anymore. Going to have to try Napa.

I'll give you the credit since I totally missed the other thread? about it :D
The fast-man throttle body has been out for the 3.7 for years. But the cost was just out of reach for me.
This seems like a good alternative... and should work well with my home made CAI & RAM air, which uses 3" pipes.
The one I am getting is used as well and I'm sure will also need a good cleaning. I usually get my stuff at O'reilly, they seem to be a bit less then Napa.
