Not at all. Members have been fitting MUCH larger tires in there.

I'm looking to upgrade to 245/75R16s once my lift gets installed... Could someone confirm if the spare would fit if I use the stock rims?

Thanks

Yes it will. Someone probably has a picture or will confirm as well.

It'll fit with no problems. The problems arise when you get up to 32s. 265/75-16s will barely fit, some will need to air them down etc. All based off brand, tire, and tread pattern.

Ok thanks. I honestly think under the jeep is stupid but well they did it. Wish they did a rear like previous one.

That's what the majority of us think as well.
There's a member here, AtTheHelm who built a fantastic rear tire carrier which he sells if you contact him. He has also built a variety of other things like steel bumpers, roof rails, and a front recovery system.

I saw some of the stuff. I'm too poor right now lol

I've got load E BFG's on mine in the same size. Definitely lost at least 1 mpg, maybe a little more.

Pretty sure I won MPG with my Firestone. New technology = more MPG (with highway tire at least).

Yeah, I believe that's what they are. The ride was a bit more firm but not terribly more. I did lose a few mpg, too. But I've mounted and dismounted them around the change of seasons and I'm not sure if the gas blends had changed yet. I'm actually hoping to put them back on tomorrow and will be able to report on any loss on mpg with summer gas.
