There are a few key letters rubbed off of this sticker. Does anyone recognize it? It is on an '06 Liberty CRD.

Probably the F37 engine detune that's associated with a TCM flash to change shift points all to "protect" a weakish OEM torque converter.

Looking at the date, 05/22,06 it's not the official/final F-37 that came out towards the end of 06.

But there were many "flashes of the week" in that time frame to attempt to fix as papa indicated the weak torque converter, glow plugs burning out, body control module draining the battery and a host of other problems.

Life goes on and the wife drives the Liberty now that has a whopping 61k on it and it's a "grocery getter".
I bought a clean one owner low mileage 07 Silverado extended cab with Z-71 4x4 and LT trim package a year ago April. It now tows our trailer but it's a gasser.

But I have gotten a 1980 Kubota D5100e 2wd tractor to fill my diesel urge. It takes a whole 20 minutes to mow my lawn now

I guess you gotta update the sig?

Yeah, once you hit 07 the diesels get very complicated, I have a 2010 Sprinter with more bells and whistles emissions controls, and no one can tune it yet, at least GDE has yet to do so. If I ever get another jumbo van, I might just get the Ford with the Ecoboost.

I have a 2305 JD tractor, and that is old school diesel with an injection pump.

Good to hear from one of the old lost vets either way.
