So I've been driving my JKU for the last month and I've got to say I do miss the 3.7L engine. It does have its quirks but it is a darn good engine. My 3.8L is sluggish and lethargic. To get it to get up to speed, you almost have to mash the pedal to the floor.

Other than the engine complaints it's a great Jeep. It's turning radius is amazing and extremely comfortable on long trips. Storage is also a non issue.

I just found out that my JKU came with the 3.73 gears so that might help in the long run with bigger tires. Currently my JKU has 32s with an 18" wheel. I've never been a fan of big wheels but they don't look bad at all. I think I will change to a 16" in the future.

Glad to hear it's treating you well. Now it's time to save for a v8 swap lol

As for 300k getting a house here, depending on the area, the average is 2-3 bed rooms, 1 bath, and I'd say about 2000 square ft or smaller. Since Sandy the market took a hit, especially close to the water. People just want to unload and run.

If you have it, use it lol. Fall and spring are some of the best times to have a convertible/Wrangler/skyslider. Summer can get hot and literally cook you(that being said, it's always open then too...with the a/c on). 50s-60s are just perfect.

My random question today:
How do you guys feel about neutering pets(dogs/cats)?

My girlfriend wants to get our 5 month old beagle fixed. He's sexually mature now and just started whining and humping. I'm kinda against it. I mean, I'm in total favor of letting my little buddy keep his manhood....so thus the predicament. What's your opinions?

In my opinion, the more control we have over over-breeding the better. It's tough to go into a shelter and see so many animals abandoned as it is, I can't imagine breeding more (unless, of course, it's for a business). But there just seems to be such an over population of dogs and cats so I'm for it. We've always had animals spayed/neutered.

Are you going to hunt him? If so, and you want to continue the bloodline then you should probably not. If you're not concerned about that then you should probably consider it. :2cents:

My pup had to have it done due to her being adopted. But my friend's pitbull got his snipped after being 2 years old. But that was due to the Mrs not willing to be assertive enough over Diesel (pitbull). Beagles are not high stung...almost at all haha, so the need wouldn't be there. If you're worried about the lil guy sticking his Johnson where it doesn't belong go for it. But you can save money and just train him not to do it to your pillows or legs. Beagles are relatively simple to train too.

We control him to the point that he won't mate with every dog. He's normally by my side or my girlfriend's side. The only dog he has humped has been my sister's puppy(which she is all for, she wants more puppies lol). My girlfriend just wants to do it in hopes that it will calm him down. I think at 5 months old it's more training than hormones.

And none of my other dogs have been fixed. We also always had golden retrievers, humping wasn't really a thing they did lol.

While about to park with the Mrs. she noticed this Jeep:

So I swung around the parking lot to park next to it. As we were taking the pic the owner was walking to it and we chatted. Turns out he used to be the President for the NOVA Jeepers club. I love this Jeep community haha.

Ordered some Putco headlight bulbs from the speed shop. Hopefully they're an improvement from the Silverstars I have.

Will do. I'm picking them up in the morning.
The Putco jet yellow work awesome as my fogs.

Gage's mpg reminded me of a TV show called extreme cheapskate. Anyone ever seen this show? Lol some of these people need to go to a mental hospital.
