I've seen it. The first episode I saw (and may have been the first episode of the show) featured a guy from VT. Representing our state well... :roll:

It only gets worse from there. There was a guy last night who teaches people how to cook cheaply. It must be staged because he found discarded lobsters in a dumpster. He then found a bottle of wine and dumped what was left into a wine box. Later on he cooked the lobster and added tuna as imitation lobster. He grabbed herbs from the streets and sidewalks. He served it with the wine to his students. All for $5.00

He said he only owns two shorts and three shirts. He showers with his clothes on to was them too....

That show is pretty gross.

Soooo...a random idea popped into my head today...

Any thoughts on bedlining the trunk? Not sure if I'd want to paint over the carpet or remove it then paint? I would do floor, sides, and the back of the rear seats (I regularly fold those down to haul nonsense).

Mmm CJ-2. There's a relatively stock CJ-5 running around as well as a monster CJ-7 on 35-37s and v8 in my town. Gonna buy the CJ? Looks fairly clean from the pics.

Haha that's what I said. It's actually already been purchased and is receiving upgrades so I don't know who owns it or what the plans are. I do know he actually paid 4000 for it

It was also fun pulling it in the garage after backing my jeep out

Just ordered a dash cam. Can't wait to put it to use!
I might start my own thread to show videos, or just put them in this thread from time to time.
Ordered the Cobra 820 which is 1080P and I also upgraded to the 32 gigs of memory for it.
$100 well spent.

Wow, only $100? That's a good deal. I thought about getting one. I also wish I had cameras on each side of the Jeep so I could've caught whoever keyed my door.

That's right. Normal price was $100, and I finally saw it go on sale on Amazon for $80 which convinced me. I'll definitely share my thoughts about it when it arrives.

Please do. I'd like to pick one up after Christmas. It's crazy the stuff you can see on the roads, so having it documented would go a long way. I work in insurance claims so I know how beneficial evidence can be!

I'm pretty excited to get it hooked up and especially since I got a good deal. I recommend looking at the reviews on youtube for this model. I'm impressed at the clarity, especially at night.

Yeah I'll have a few questions for you once you have it installed.

My parents have asked me for some Christmas present ideas. I'm still trying to get a lift so I'm asking for cash towards it as well as some of the parts (like the bump stops). I definitely won't get near enough money for any part of the lift but every little bit helps. That, along with my bonus and tax return, I'm hoping will get me close. But I'm also looking to put some cash away towards a vacation and possibly a ring at some point... too many things that are too expensive!

Haha, I've been saving for a year towards my girlfriend's ring, yet the amount I have saved is still less than my front suspension. I guess I had my priorities...

My next step is going to be dependent on what amounts start to come my way, haha. For the short term, I think the vacation will come first as it benefits us both, even though she's been telling me to lift the Jeep if I want to. Then the ring will probably come second (depending on what kind costs I'm looking at) and then I can try and piece together the lift later.

I'm trying to get a ring as well, but I can't see myself getting married in the immediate future, and I know my girlfriend has said she doesn't want to be engaged for a long time before the marriage. Hmmmm...

I'm not looking for anything too immediate, either, but I'd like to start to get it all figured out. Price, type of ring, etc. Then I can formulate the proposal timing from there.
