Interior swap

This is kind of a strange request but I am looking to trade an '05 gray interior for a black interior of any year. This includes the carpeting and all the panels except the door panels as I have a black set of those. I will give the gray ones to you though. If anyone is interested, let me know. I will pay you for the panels and for the s&h charges.

There's a short thread about interior painting over at Jeepforum with a some pics. If i ever score a set of power seat tracks, i plan on painting the the trim from taupe to something that matches the slate grey a little better.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't take painting too seriously, but the pictures have me doing more research. I was thinking of putting a leather or vinyl kit to it also. My ultimate goal, since I am done off-road modding for now, is to get the interior a black and tan with tan leather seats, similar in color to a leather bomber jacket. I sat in a friend's Mercedes and the interior was very...luxurious. I know it's a Jeep and I wouldn't trade it in for anything, but it sure was nice...

Dave, have you sat in an '03-ish KJ? At night, the switches light up. DC got rid of that in later years, and I really miss them. You might want to see how hard (probably) it would be to run the LED's to all the switches again. IIRC, my wife's KJ has these switches that light up: mirror adjustment, door locks, radio volume knob, floor console switches.

hey az scout you can find what you are looking for on car-parts .com you can the whole interior from a wrecked kj. if you ever find what you are looking for i would buy your front 05 seats from you and the rear
