Been have some shudder on my cross country trip when climbing steep grades. So it looks like I will be needing a new torque converter.
Found this one from Florida Torque Converter:
http://www.floridatorqueconverters.com/Chrysler_Torque_Converter_13-37.html
They have a ebay listing for this item for $110 plus shipping.

What do you think? Does it look like a good TC?

Actual pic and specs look rite - couldn't find it on eBay - at this late stage of the game, a pre-owned TC could be a scary unknown, so coming out of a rebuild shop would be the better option - if they're not simply steam-cleaning and painting bone-yard culls for that price

In the ebay listing it states:

FEATURES include the following:
• Furnace Brazed Pump and Turbine
• Welded Turbine Hub
• Hardened Billet Splines
• Torrington Bearings
• Precision Steel Pump Drive
• Computer Balanced and Pressure Tested
• Extreme duty high carbon clutch materials

Sound like a good rebuild to me.

Hmmmm..........wonder if by 'high carbon' they mean KEVLAR - with that input and the info on their website, sounds good to me, also................

Give'em a call

(High carbon also has meaning when the clutch material is fried\burned, eh)
