This is the only guy running 32's on the site, not sure if its him or not.

Jeepin_it_real had 32s...then he totalled his KK... That's SilverKK's. Doubt Lauren saw his and didn't know it.

Wouldn't "dark gray" be darker than SilverKK's?
Lauren, did you notice any stickers, rims, or other after market items?

Today I trimmed my rear bump stops, and lowered the front a little bit.

Why'd you lower the front?

Because at full compression I was still an inch or so from the bump stop. I'm hoping to get more up travel so the jeep will remain more level while wheeling. The down travel should remain unchanged. Plus it'll take a little day to day stress off the CVs and R&P.

fabricated another cb bracket. the second one looks a lot cleaner then the prototype on the passenger side.
Image

cut into the air box for a ip67 fan. the fan is very powerful and has good supply pressure. theres other holes cut into the box for venting or if the fan is inadequate for supplying air. its main use would be for summer when the jeep is idle and or low rpm.

Image

heres a photo of the brackets. they are both finished now and are both camo tan and clear coated.

Wilson antenna should be in the mail today.

Yup, darker gray than SilverKK's. I think it had a sticker of a skeletal shark on the rear window, along with some other decals. There were no wheel spacers or any other aftermarket stuff I remember seeing. His tires were just a size bigger than mine, on stock silver rims (not the two-tone '08 rims) but they weren't Duratracs. Maybe BFG's or something less knobby.

Yup. Sorry about that.

Dead blow rubber mallet is your friend. What ended up working for me was jacking up the rear axle and turning the tire on the opposite side to rotate the brake rotor a bit, then going back over there and tapping it again with the mallet. You can only tap it outward from the 3:00 position after removing the calipers, so tap, turn, tap, turn, etc. until it finally comes off.

Not at all what I did...

I used my sledge and tapped it "loose" before pulling it out. And then I used my wonderbar and pried the rotor off the parking shoe. Don't recommend this because I broke the retaining stuff for the brake dust shield on the driver's side. Also, did you have to tighten your parking brake after the new rotors? Because now mine is almost too loose to do anything but kiss the rotor.

Installed a set of power leather seats out of a 2012 in to my 2008 sport. Not as easy as I had hoped since it did not have a wire harness on the passenger side.

Also put some ultrasuede on the headliner, visors, and A pillars.

Today in Raritan, New Jersey I spotted a modded KK.
Black, with a black bull bar complimented by some off road lights installed on it.
Spotted near the Raritan QuickChek.

Hey, whatever works!
Yes, I did need to adjust the parking brake because I had to loosen it all the way to get the rusty rotors off when I first changed the brakes. In fact, the process of tightening involved disassembling it all over again and take the rotors back off to access the star wheels inside the rear hubs! It's nearly impossible to get leverage to tighten them through the poorly positioned access holes with the brake caliper brackets on. That's the majority of what I was doing when I was up at Gage's a while back. That and a tire rotation, because I already had 2/5 of the wheels off!

Sooo, Tuesday abd Wednesday I won't be getting the gears because the shop's Yukon sales guy had to cross-reference everything for the KK because no one knows anything about it haha. So parts should be in Thursday...I should be getting my regeared and new tired KK by Friday with a discounted price for my troubles!

That's what John told me. He said getting the 4.56s specifically for the front were a major pain. I can't wait til they're installed and broken in  Come give me a ride then so I can decide lol
