You just made my life easier. Thank you, now to determine what length I need...when the weather warms up.

Jeepmonkey, are you still running the JKS quick discos? How are they working out? Quiet on the street? Fitment is good?

I sure am and they are still working great and they make no noise what so ever. If you get them you won't regret it.

TEASER ALERT!!!
I'm going to look into getting Currie AntiRocks and yes I know they don't make it specifically for the KK :CAMPING:

It's an easy install with nothing custom right?

Guess I goofed and put this in the wrong thread I meant to put it in the random thread.

My bad.

I've never seen a nitro in person in all my years of auto repair that had a 4.0. Proof is was stupid lol.

Kk case is a bolt in with some wiring work to get 4 Lo or a floor pan hole for manual shift.

I've thought about it... but with a dedicated trail vehicle and a kia sorento which has lo range. No point

I had 2 kjs that had all sort of issues mechanically.

The nitro is at 95k and has not even hade a set of brakes yet. Of course maybe it's Becuase the nitro is t used as hard.

Right, you just have to switch the top peg and bottom peg with a washer on the bottom peg just because the thread is a hair too long

So I used the Jeep only parking at school yesterday...

I could have gone up higher, and did at one point, but I backed down just a bit to put less stress on everything.

That's really high PA,

Stick around 33-35. Just because it's a bigger tire doesn't mean a higher psi is better.... That's a lot of pressure

There is an air pressure thread around here somewhere....
Anyways, I run mine at 35.
50 would be like driving around on wheels made from marble. That is to the point of over inflation I think.

Nope, no wheel chucks. I have a 2x4, but I'm not about to pull that out in a parking lot. I just pulled the handbrake and threw it in park. She didn't move.

NAM, I say chalk test them. I'm gonna do it to my duratracs when it warms up. I keep them at 36 though(Tom runs the same). It might be high, not sure.

Btw, what are you turning at 65 or 70mph?

Now that I'm home, 4.56s basically adds 500 RPMs to stock ratios. I used to 55mph in ooverdrive with 15-1600, now it's 20-2100 (going to need to take some getting used to...). Worth it because it can now drive over highway hills and not lose speed while in overdrive. After getting back to town, I filled up and have driven 60 odo miles...and used a 1/4 tank...

Thanks the pressure recommendations...currently running at 27psi when room temperature inflated, after driving 80mi of highway it seems like I'm over-inflated a bit.

How many ply rating are they? Sort of depends on what pressure works best. On a P rated tire you can run a lower pressure .
So 2000 at 55 ? Wonder what mine would be?
It may run at a higher somewhat RPM but at the same time mileage should be the same or better than say even 4.10s since it will not be shifting as much . Overall a perfect 32 inch ratio would be about 4.30 or so but since we can't get that with weight of accessories/ tires etc 4.56 should be perfect.
