The front is not bad, only minor rub at full stuff with wheel turned full lock. The rear is bad when full stuffed, need to drop down to 255/70R16's MTR's. Image[/img]

That is a great looking KJ. Does the front bumper weigh down the front end?

Is it an optical illusion or are your jambs a different color?

Yeah, did you repaint your fenders? They look like they have truck bed liner paint on them. I bet they don't scratch any more!!:) How do they hold up?

My fender flares are bedlinered as well as the rear bumber(front was to until i switched to the ARB) and the roof also.My KJ is a limited model so the flares and bumbers came paint matched to the rest of the vehicle,I sprayed the flares and bumbers 2 days after buying it(kept getting rock chips down low from the MT/R's,problem solved now). The bedliner has held up good and it's been 4 years now with out any peeling(it's a pain when i wax it not trying to get wax on the bedliner, real pain to get off),small chips that haven't gone all the way through is all,the MT/R's really throw the big rocks, sounds like my KJ is falling apart on gravel roads an nobody dares to get within 1/4 mile of me or there windshield gets broken.

Looks awesome. The orange is great. I was thinking about doing the same thing, except "Jeep yellow", but my wife doesn't like the idea. :(

That's funning because the color i wanted to spray it was a very bright yellow but my buddy would not let me because he was painting his '70 demon that color,I told him I found it first,he agreed then threatened to throw me in jail(he's a city cop)if I painted it that color,so I painted it orange.

Get out of town!! I traded in my Limited fenders and bumbers for the sport black plastic when I bought mine too! I just loved the look but loved the interior of the limited much better. I liked yours better though. Mine are already scratched to hell. But Hey I kept the originals so if worse comes to worse I'll just put those back on if I sell her or if i crack one. Unles I can sell the set to someone. Great Idea though. Did you paint inside the wheel well as well. And it looks like you two toned the lower side panels. But they did not look like bed liner. Are they just flat black paint.

P.S. I planned on painting my bright yellow too!! (we definitley have the same taste) I'm just waiting for some serious damage to occour so the insurance will pick it up. What did yours run to do?

I had $5500.00 worth of hail damage on her back '02,since I worked at a body shopit only cost me about $3000.00 to fix with doing all the work myself. The color I used is a 3 part process(tri-coat) and the last stage(the translucant orange)ran me $1000.00 alone at my really discounted price,so the paint job would have cost about $9000.00 if I didn't do the work myself and get wholesale prices on parts and paint. You can get a better deal than that though, shop around but it depends on the colar you want, those flashy exotic colars are pricy!Don't let my cost scare you I used a pricy colar and there is cheaper colors, even yellow. If you want a really good looking yellow go to a automotive paint supply store (or bodyshop)and ask to see the factory colors for a 2001 lamborghini,my orange is there plus a really bright yellow.
