I'm looking for the carpet pieces under the dash in the footwell area. I think they are called closeout panels according to the mopar parts sight and what the deal told me. This is the link http://www.mopardealerparts.com/p/PANEL ... 311AH.html to the part i believe is right. Dealer wants about twice that amount if that is indeed the correct part i'm looking for. Or even if anyone has any suggestions on something to put in its place i got no problem modding something up there.

I got the Mopar rubber floor mats for Christmas. they work pretty good. weather tech mats also are pretty good. I like the Mopar mats better just because they look nice, function, and have the jeep logo.

I absolutely hate the Mopar website. I want to see an actual image and specs on the product, not numbers and lines that point me else where to guess what the part is.

EDIT: ogh, the carpet "insulation" above the foot wells. those are pointless besides hiding parts. those hold up a few of my wires that I ran outside the firewall. why do you want a replacement?

I'd try junkyards, some fabric stores might carry a similar material and you can make your own.

Mostly want some to put the them back up there to hide and protect the wires i have running under the passenger side dash. Plus it just seems ever since i took the old ones out my foot well are is always cold. I may just look into a fabric store then and make some. Drive side was tore and falling down when i bought and the passenger side got wet when my heater core lower cover cracked and water ran down onto them.

in winter time I can tell that air is coming into the foot wells on the driver side badly. my passengers are always complaining their feet are on fire when mine are still frozen. fabric store would be another option. maybe get a sheet of 1" thick ridged foam insulation and cover that with fabric. wouldn't be any more then $30. id doubt the junkyard would have a close match to the hole layout you need.
