Any finalized ideas on where to meet for this day? I was hoping to come down from Detroit area (1.5hrs away) but I would love to meet first then go as a group. Any directions or addresses would be great!

Thanks all! I can't wait!

I might be passing on this becuase I am getting involved with Camp Jeep trail building. I'll make a decision in a couple weeks.

I still plan on coming up for this. Just let me know where we'll be meeting and when and I'll be there.

Hey Pixeldzn, you'll have to let us know how the trails are for Camp Jeep. Had a blast at the last one and can't wait for this year's.

I got your PM and I'm pulling some local KJr's together. I was hoping to enter to show (to get the free crap) but if not I won't be dissapointed. As long as there is a big crew of us!!

Any guess on how late this goes? I want to get home at a decent time, and home is 3 hours away...

It seems to me that I heard that it was over at about 3 to 4 so that way every one can get out of here at a decent time.

Talking about entering the show, I was thinking that we all would as a (L.O.S.T.) group anyways, no matter if you are lifted, modded or not, knock some of the dirt off and come on!

I told blkkj (Phil) that I would try and find somewhere that we could all meet at before we go in together. Somewhere that has a big lot and maybe some food nearby so if you have the munchies! I will scout it out next week. Too much to do this weekend, heading to Southeastern part of the state (Marietta area) to have some fun! Places that rarely see a KJ let alone a lifted one!

We should use Northtown Mall (MapQuest on "North Towne Square Mall" in "Toledo, OH") as a rally point. It's a few miles north on I-75 (Alexis Rd. Exit, then head west), but it would be about the best place I can think of near the plant. If you do the mapquest, scroll south once and you'll see the Jeep plant. Let's say, 10AM to give the North Detroit, Cleveland & Cincy (any Chicago?) crowd a chance to drive in? We could get there earlier for the goodies, but then we'd be in 2 groups, local & not local.

The parking lot should be dead at 10am on a Sunday. I can't remember which stores are on the Alexis Road side, but if you park near the Telegraph Road / Alexis Road corner of the lot, it should be easy to find each other. (a bunch of KJ's in a big empty lot - no one should miss this one :) )

3PM huh... I wonder when Cabela's closes in Dundee???

I'm game for whatever decision. Show opens at 11AM, but showing starts at 9AM, or earlier. I wonder if we can just have a set reserved number, or spread the Jeeps out so there is spaces between and then save those spaces, etc....

This should be a blast, and I'm hoping Jeep pulls out the future toys!

As far as saving places, talked to one of the organizers and he said NO Way no saved spots! He said they have so many coming in at almost the same time that the order you come in the gates that is where you are, so if we want to get into the place and get the goodies looks like an early morning to meet and all go in one after another to make sure we can park in a row.
Northtowne would be a pretty good spot to meet. Anyone coming up through from the south up I 280 they are working on it, sometimes it is open, sometimes not, may want to check first.
Cabelas I think is open till 5:00 or 5:30 on Sundays, nice short run up there if anyone is interested.
Should be a fun day! The guy that aligned my KJ today said he is going up just to see what all these modded KJs look like. His wife has one and wants some things done to it so he wants to get ideas.
Anyone have copies of flyers / handouts, do we need to make some up?

You guys call the time. I could meet at North Towne at 8 or 10. Or we could have two groups, one that meets at 8 and goes in, the second at 10.

Sounds great Longarm, should really jerk some heads around for sure! Cant wait to see you coming down the road like that! 8) I am going to do some scouting today or tomorrow to pick us a out a good spot to meet with ample parking, some food places, if anyone needs a quick bite to eat!
Northtowne Mall is alright but I think there may be a couple of places closer even than that not so far from I 75
Will let you know.

Closer and Closer, and I'm jumping for this event. I hope we get a good number of us there. Tommudd let me know if you find another spot and post up the name or address of the place. I can always do a mapquest or google map to get there.

I'm hoping to be part of the show and get a free plaque and shirt. So whatever group is planning on doing the show please let me know when/where to meet.
