So my friend is getting a 4x4 cherokee soon and I was wondering if there are any good 4x4 trails in Oklahoma that are good for a beginner / intermediate level. (most likely stock cherokee)
thanks for any info!

if you feel like a couple hour drive there is Ks Rocks Park in Ft. Scott, Ks. Or there is one in Seymor Mo outside of Springfield, you've got Little Sahara in Winoka Ok. And there is another on in Wyandotte Ok called D-Day. Those are the only ones close that I can think of.

Was up at Disney this past weekend running around up there didn't get to hairy but you can have a great time. best thing is there is alot of jeeps up there in case you get stuck. I crawled up on the rock and ran through the creek beds but you need to watch for four wheelers and monster jeeps. This was not at Hogans this is at the park below the dam, When you get to langley head east across the Dam and as soon as you reach the end take the first right, it is a dirt road that leads back below the spillway. I found a great "bowel" of mud that had a rock bottom that turned my entire blue jeep brown, Then I ran up the rock wall the only thing is if you want to run the rock garden you will need skids, One guy said you need to have a lift, and lockers, I didnt try it cause my jeep sits a little low even on the 29s i'm running, I dont have a lift, and no skids cept the factory ones and it didnt look like something i should attempt with my 17mo old son with me. needless to say i was the only KJ running that day and by the reaction that guy gave me he is under the impression that the KJ just cant play there. I plan to go back, so we will see, my bro in law just got his cherokee back from the shop that screwed it up, once we fix it we will make a few runs together. What part of Oklahoma you in? maybe you can come along sometime. get this Oklahoma Lost chapter going.

Oklahoma lost now theres a good idea. Well of course I think this as im from Oklahoma. But im from NE in the Tulsa area. My KJ calls home to the dirt behind Lowes on 71st and 169. Sounds kinda lame but its not all to bad back there. Theres some fun stuff and the best part is if I get stuff im right next to lowes. Lol iv spent many a Jeep funds buying straps and come alongs when in need.

But if any of you guys head up here send me a pm. I really want to go out to Keystone lake but iv heard not the smartest place to travel alone in case of getting stuck and what not.

KJmike, I head out when i can mostly on a spur of the moment but we will have to get together. I tried to get them to give us OKies the title Lost Central, I wanted to incorporate Ark, Kansas, and Ok, but it didn't really fly at the time. As i said in my previous post, My bro in law has two cherokee's and I have my KJ, His are kind of down atm but he is going to get them together. My KJ runs 169 to 41st on a daily baisis. I will have to check out that area behind Lowes on 71st I keep my come along and straps in the jeep for those impromtu "hey lets see where that goes" days. any ways holla at me and we will see what we can do about getting this club thing up and started and maybe post some pics of Oklahoma wheeling, you know rocks, mud, sand, woods, and water all in one run...Maybe plus all the camping area we need. Maybe i am just dreaming here but i think Ok has alot to offer.

An Oklahoma L.O.S.T. chapter sounds like a very good idea. I'm in Oklahoma City and would try to join in if there were any activities goin' on. A couple of my friends have jeeps but only one will be a 4x4. (counting me 2 liberty's, and 2 Cherokee's)
