What is the full name of this? and does it come with that display with the numbers you put on the dash or is that separate?

Hypertech max energy, the displays your seeing I think are scan gauges

I noticed in your mod list you don't have a hypertech? Maybe not having that touch of tune is causing the tb to not react as it should? I gave up trying to find a used hypertech but autoanything has them @299.99 free overnight. Hopefully that and a 4.7L tb can. I'm just spit balling I'm all new to these motors and just try to learn from what you all say. Thank you much for the update!

the 2011 and 2012 KKs have different protocols then the 08-10 KKs. as of now 2011 and 2012 KKs ecu are locked.

Update: the Jeep is alive! seems like the ecu finally learned the air/fuel ratio. she purrs at 550 rpm and average speed around town is 50 mph at 1600 rpm. which is about usual from the old TB. she's a lot quieter at idle, you don't hear the injectors as much or something else I don't realize. I haven't been on the highway much so I don't have any input on those speeds and rpms. mileage: filled up once since I've had the TB in. one of these days ill get a scangauge. as of now, I just go off of how often I fill up.

I floored it once since I've had the TB on, and wow, its a jet compared to the stock TB. accelerations seem easier to get up to speed. throttle response: still a delay, but the faster acceleration compensates for the still persistent delay.

PA, are you also running the Hypertech programmer, or are the results above just from the 4.7 TB alone? I'd like to get some sense of how much of the gains are due to the Hypertech vs. the larger TB. When people install both together, it is hard to say.

I have a 2012 KK, at the moment a hypertech is not possible. (wish it were)

gage has an 08 KK, so your in luck. if you want to do the TB, buy one now. the install average price seems to hover around $200. its a mod well worth it for what ever mileage your currently getting.

and if im getting the results with out the hypertech, just imagine the gains I would have with one!

A ScanGauge2 is gonna run ya about $160.
Till then, your math you should be doing is miles per tank divided by gallons filled.
Highway mileage is where I've been seeing the most mpg gain, but I don't get a chance to cruise on the highway often.

Negative.
A lot of vehicles allow it, but not our Liberty. Something in the coding or whatever that locks out the info.

Dang, got my hopes up. Is there anything out there that can do it other than a dealer or putting in an aftermarket sensor?

So far, not that I've rear, and believe me, I've done a lot of searching.
Someone supposedly had a way to make it work with the ScanGauge by putting in a code to it, but I tried it with no success.

im not sure if im getting better milage because of the larger TB, but I am noticing myself striving to keep the rpms under 2200 rpm.

has any one heard if the refined gas summer blend has been released yet?

ill start doing my calculations then. winter blend is just pointless to start now.

Would not do anything at all, they only work where fuel and air are being mixed

Depends on which state your in, we are on summer blend here in Cali and probably the whole west coast, but I would assume you east coasters are still on winter blend

you have a winter blend???

well I guess 60 degrees is like zero degrees to you guys.

zero degrees on the east coast is equivalent to negative 20 degrees. those are the days you wish your diesel trucks had a block heater.

this is on the highway. These rpms were never that low at 60 mph. I haven't hit 70 yet but id assume they'd be pretty darn close to 2k rpm instead of 2200 rpm or so.

Any updates on this mod PAlifted, your the only one I've seen running this on a 2012 and I just stumbled onto this, I'll be doing it if there haven't been any bad effects from it
