I just bought a 2006 liberty CRD with OEM cross bars on the roof rack. I like the look and lower profile of the OEM bars but my bike racks are all Thule. Does anyone know of an adapter to attach Thule components to OEM bars? I can probably fabricate something if I need to, but I prefer to spend a couple of bucks to get something tried and true. Thanks!

If I get enough interest, I just might. I manage a CNC/Fabrication shop that also does powdercoating, so I might present it as a side project to make some Ebay cash...

Any interest in having some made from anyone here?

That looks cool, but I have the OEM cross bars. Mine are the aero-style bars with a really low profile, which is awesome but they do not accept normal thule or yakima adapters. These require a sort of tee-bolt that slides down the center of a keyway in the cross bar. I can't seem to find anything OEM that will fit them.

I'll see if I can find the thread you're talking about. A PM probably wouldn't hurt.
