I ended up getting the General Grabber AT2s 245/70r16. I went into a ditch that full flex and was just hitting the back wheel well plastic. Small snip and its fine. Now I gotta paint my wheels!

What would you guys say I should run my pressure at with these? I was told at the tire shop 33-35psi

Nice tires! Heard good reviews about them, the highest PSI you'd ever really want to go is 36. So the 33-35 range is good.

I will look at them after a few thousand and see how there wearing. yeah I am happy with them...I'll have to see how they do in the dirt! They are a bit louder at freeway speeds than I expected from an AT.

They look good, you can always do the chalk test if you want.

As for noise, come to the Duratrac side if you really want to hear an A/T hum :jester:

What is the chalk test? Yeah those are my next tires once I get lifted in a few years.

Basically a line of chalk across the tire, then roll a few feet to wear some of the chalk off. How it wears off tells you how the tire will wear so you can adjust tire pressure accordingly.

Did you get 4 or 5 tires?
Do yourself a favor and keep them rotated.
35-37 should be a good number.

I got 4 and yes I have an excel spreadsheet to keep track of oil changes and tire rotation...How many miles would you guys recommend for rotation?

I run the same tire, except I have he 245/75R16. I run them at 35-36 PSI and experience fine wear all around. Now, I do make sure that my alignment is good at least twice a year.

As for rotation, I rotate them every 5-8,000 miles. Either with an oil change or with other work that comes up...

I've been doing a five tire rotation every 3-4 thousand.

I rotate mine when I can. Try to do it around the same time as an oil change, but that isn't always the case. My best rule of thumb is when they start to hum different/louder. Speaking of which I need to find time this week to do that....

I also find a good indicator of when to rotate your tires is when you're on the highway cruising at higher speeds and your steering wheel is really vibrating/moving a lot.

YEah that is what i hear with ATs they will start to hum more when they need rotation. The place i got them does lifetime rotation and balance so that is nice
