Marlin owns the company, jeepinbyal name came from the original guy ( Al Handy ) who started making the original UCAs for the KJ, then Marlin bought him out several years ago

Marlin owns a machine shop where all of the UCAs etc are made ( plus he also does custom orders as well )
But he is owner, takes orders, pulls parts for shipping, gets parts ready for shipping, answers the phone, emails , billing, so pretty much anything to get your order done and out , he does it!
Oh also in his spare time he designs new parts for IFS Jeeps and other IFS trucks now as well

The whole point of a kit is to provide pretty muchk everything you need in one package. That way you get the right matching shocks for the springs. Generally they cost about the same as if you bought it all separately.

Thankfully the kit was put together for someone like me. I just don't have time to sit and figure this stuff out. I wanted a lift, did my research here and then point, click, pay, send. Clean, neat, easy and I'm happy.

Either way you are going to be so happy with the suspension change.

Very happy. Wouldn't change anything but I should extend brake lines at some point.

I'm really happy with the old OME econo lift. But I probably would have done things differently if was to do it over. That's mostly because I now want 4", but couldn't afford it before. Probably would have went with the jba 2.5" kit added however many rear isos and cranked it up to about 3-3.5". But that was also a ton more money. I got my OME lift when it cost $1200 to my door and JBA was around $2500.

4 inch kit comes with Al's front upper control arms, adjustable rear track bar, longer sway bar links, brake line extensions, front & rear bump stops, different rear shocks, as well as taller rear springs. A lot more is needed once you get over 3 inches of lift.

I haven't checked in a while, but the 2.5" kit might even have a-arms in the kit. Basically the adjustable coil overs are shared for both kits. Then the rear gets longer shocks and 4" lift springs, longer sway bar links, extended brake lines, and the adjustable track bar.

The biggest benefit of the coilovers is the smaller diameter springs. You can go a tad higher with stock a-arms, and when you upgrade a-arms you'll have less uca-spring contact at 3.5-4".

I was fortunate enough to pick up a used 2.5" kit for really cheap, so in the next few weeks the front part of that will be getting installed on my KK.

I'm ordering the rear kit tonight and building my own pan hard bar ... Are the jba rear springs actually 4" or do I need isolatos and spacers or is just springs shocks and bump stops enough I'll do the brake lines and sway bar links at a later date

If ordering 4 inch springs then 4 inches
do sway bar links ASAP, they limit the amount of lift you end up with, proven fact

Yes you can chop the links, extend and do an external sleeve with the correct size DOM..easy peasy.

The stock rears are 14"x23" iirc
Bilstein 33-185552's should work with jba's 4" springs. You'll need to shim the sleeves with 1/2" washers for our shock mounts. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1455123497
