I'm so happy this is my last week of school. I really want to go up on the beach today, but just don't have the time with class. Maybe I can make it on Thursday, I think that's our next nice day.

I wish. I have 1 more semester. I'm a semester behind because I didn't pay attention to what I needed and came up 3 upper division classes short.

So now that the semester is basically over and after this weekend the Jeep can start getting some much needed love, I might as well make my list.

In no particular order:
- sand, prep and paint my rock sliders (I'll probably unbolt these this week to let me work as I have time)
- sand prep and paint my adjust-a-struts
- install my adjust-a-struts
- prep and paint my light mounts from Jeepmonkey
- buy lights for said light mounts (leaning towards Seward 3x3s in a spot pattern)
- install and wire said lights
- rewire my KCs
- detail the KK both inside and out
- perform regular maintenance (rotate tires, grease balljoints and bushings, etc)
- touch up and reinstall skids
- replace uca ball joints
- fix my driver's side window controls (the switch doesn't bring the window up sometimes...)

Doesn't seem like much when you make a list haha. The prep and paint stuff will take a bit, but the rest shouldn't be too bad. Probably more stuff as the next week or 2 passes. I know I have a few little secret things in the mail. Nothing big, so nobody get their hopes up.

Sounds like fun! You could almost host a meet n greet (or meet n wrench) with all you want to get done. :D I'm sure some people might want to see an adjust a strut kit in person, and learn how to work on a suspension.

I'd need to find a definite time to be able to do all that lol. I'm thinking about rotating tires, greasing the ball joins and dropping the sliders today after class. My sister wants to see what the 31s on a 16" rim would look like on her TJ anyways. Right now she has 30x9.5x15s. We're planning a 2-3" lift on that too. Shocks and springs are shot, so might as well upgrade for some lift and a better ride. Thinking OME or BDS springs and Bilstein shocks. Something cheap that won't need new control arms or anything and will improve handling and the ride.

Took a day trip up to VT with the girlfriend to grab stuff out of a storage unit. Made it all the way up and some back on one tank. 330.8 miles until I had to fill up and I put 17 gallons in on the dot.
I need to test again... because that's over 19 mpg
Meriden CT to Norwalk center VT

That's pretty good, especially considering some of the hills we have on our interstates in VT. I made a trip to CT last year and got 19mpg while going about 75mph the whole way. I made a trip to Cape Cod once and got either 21 or 23mpg on the trip. I can't remember which now.

Took a few pictures today. Nothing special. My front passenger side parking bulb is pretty much burnt out. Most of its orange film has melted off or something. Will replace this week.

About how big do you think you can go before getting a longer track bar

By the time you get in the 3.25-3.5 range you need a longer track bar and longer sway bar links both to really let the rear suspension work . At 3.75-4.0 its really got everything maxed out

Well boys and girls, I proposed to my girlfriend today and she said yes. She had been wanting to buy a Wrangler as of late but now with a wedding pending I'm sure that won't be a priority. Although she does want to put it on our registry.

Thanks guys. Yeah the most nerve wracking part was asking her dad but once he said yes it was all downhill from there.

Congrats!!!

I remember asking my Father in law too. His reaction was priceless as he said "if you want to". I think he was really shocked, and we have a good relationship.

Just wanted to check in with my KK friends and see how everyone is doing.

Nice to see guys still honor this form of respect. 8) Well done!

Did not do anything as near as special today. Just looked up under the drivers dash and around the floorboards to see if I could finally find where the cold air is coming in from under the HVAC unit in the winter. My wife always complains her side is roasting and my feet are still cold...

Then I dug up the HUGE fern(3'x3') we had planted by our little pond and replaced it with 3 types of low growing bunch grass. Our pond is only 5'x8' so the fern kinda took over. Oh, and two of the gold fish we have in there look like they may be with eggs. We currently have 3 generations living in there. 4-5", 3" and 2". Funny how nature takes care of itself. We started off with 10 for $1 feeder gold fish (10). Lost 2 to disease as can be expected with feeder fish. Then someone had babies and we were up to about 15 (gold fish are cannibals and will eat their young when small). Then 3 big ones disappeared over night (we think it was a coon). More babies and a couple big ones again went away. So now we have 12-13 in there. What is really funny is we have 2 that are almost completely black and none of the originals were black, just gold and silver ones.
