So I need new front Sway bar links for the jeep. Was looking on JBA website and saw he has regular links
http://jeepinbyal.com/liberty-2008-2012 ... nk-kk.html
and extended links
http://jeepinbyal.com/liberty-2008-2012 ... ks-kk.html

Im lifted 2.5 inches and was thinking of going to 3, but im not sure which one to buy.

When would you recommend getting the extended links?

The extended say that they're 8" eye to eye. Not sure what stock is. Either way I'd assume that it works the same way as lifts. Everything doubles so if you extend the link 1" it's really like extending it 2". I know a lot of WK guys feel the same way.

If that logic is correct and stock is say 6". The extended links would be for the 4" lift.

Are they needed in front? Probably not, but I can imagine that they would behave like having the front disconnected. I think there's also a slim possibility that it could help some esp issues. Won't know until someone tests them or others with the extended disconnects chimes in.

I have tested them from JBA, even had JBA disconnects on mine. Took them off for stock units.

Didnt make any difference and being disco actually binded up my IFS. They only help if at full droop the sway bar hits the lower arm, which dosent happen until 4"+

And no, the links you need inch per inch.

So the regular links JBA sells, are those any different then the stock OEM ones?

I have about a 3" lift and got the extended links. For what it's worth, I noticed my ESP goes off a lot less on turns since I put them on.

Differences in the KKs and KJs . KKs seem to be a lot more sensitive than the KJs were

I have JKS's (JKU) extendable discos on mine and I love them, but I'm not trying to start a debate but I like disconnecting mine when I go wheelin so they work great for me. I went this route as well because I found them at a 4 wheel parts expo for $15 bucks so I said it was worth a shot. and I haven't gotten any codes thrown while using them but I did notice the ride seemed to be much better after words since the sway bar wasn't tilted as much downwards. Also I have the Tommudd econo 3.5" lift.

Lucky...I'm not willing to spend $175 for them haha. Not when $175 is pretty much on Bilstein 7100 shock...
