Has anyone in our Jeep Liberty commune done a glove box mod? Are there any aftermarket options to better utilize the inside gb space?

It's kinda dumb that I can't even fit a standard 4.5" x 11" envelope into it. It'd be nice to be able to fit my registration, tire warranty, etc. in there. Happy Memorial Day!

Just to clarify the owners manual and such fit on a shelf toward the top inside the glove box. You cannot see it from a normal sitting position but you can feel it.

The newer KJs apparently have the panel under the steering wheel which has a hinge on the bottom section...pull on the top edge and it should swing open. You can make yourself some sort of container inside there.

My early 2002 Export does not have the bottom hinge but the whole panel clips out top and bottom with a firm tug...I am considering fitting a hinge on the bottom section like the newer KJs have!
