Hi all, I didn't find this mentioned elsewhere.

I moved my pedal towards the seat so I can sit further away from the steering wheel, much more comfortable.
You just need to make a spacer for between the pedal assembly and its mount.
I started with a 4x2 inch bit of softwood as a 'test jig', this moves the pedal back the 4".
I have since replaced it with some 4x2" metal box section. The whole thing was a piece of cake, and I've had no problems in 3 years.

Cheers,
Michael

p.s. I can email photos to anyone interested, there's no 'attachment' options here

Yeah, LOST doesn't host photos. If you have a Photobucket account you can put it there and link it here.

Please post photos.

I upload my photos to Google plus. Because that's the only thing its good for.

When linking your photo, right click the photo, properties and copy that link.

On lost jeeps, click on the img button and insert the link in between it.

Ok

The KKs are 'fly by wire', so no throttle cable to worry about. So I decided to move the pedal back using a 'spacer'. The first photos are of the 4"x2" wooden test rig, which I replaced with a bit of box section. It brings the accelerator back to near the brake pedal.

My other favourite 'mod' is joining the wire inside the seat belt buckle so it doesn't chime when I undo my seat belt.

Cheers
