Has anyone installed their brake controller anywhere else? I actually use that little tray for my music player, and I'm not sure my brake controller will fit in there anyway. But I'm stumped about anyplace else that it can conceivable go - especially based on the alignment parameters for it....

Thanks cerich! I was examining the interior today trying to find a good spot and thought that spot looked most likely - it even has a flat part at the bottom. Do you find it gets kicked there?

Installed mine on top of the dash on the far left tucked against the pillar.

I found some kind of plastic plug located on the firewall where it butts up against the inner panel on the driver's side. it's glued/sealed in place but comes out fairly easily. I ran wiring through the hole, dremeled out an opening in the plug to allow the wires through, then put the plug back in place and sealed it up with some grey RTV sealant.

That's the plug I found too.

I am looking for the rubber grommet above the brake too in case that is easier.

See my other post here for pictures.
