What's KJ Expeditionary? Is it a new forum or website? I've heard it mentioned in a few newer posts and I have no idea what it is. I'm not sure if I haven't been paying attention or what.

Yes, it is a new forum. A few folks from Canada put it together.

DesertKJ,

Another member on here, Zeero, is the mastermind... I am along for the ride and help out with the website and such... We wanted to promote a KJ specific club in the area since most of the 4x4ers are all these monster machines... heh heh...

We are also looking to make an expedition to MOAB next spring...
I can't wait!!! Hopefully get lifted this winter in anticipaction! :)

Feel free to stop by and chat with us...

Well said guys! I figured I should write something here. I wouldn't call myself the mastermind behind it, Shadow here has done TONS of work already for the site. So he deserves a whole pile of credit for this.

Anyway, here's the "vision" I've always wanted to own a Jeep and drive it cross country and tour. I've always wanted to go on global Expeditions and travel the world by vehicle and see the things that that ordinary toursits don't get to see. In my mind the best vessel to do that in was a KJ.

So, since owning the KJ, I've been putting together thoughts and ideas and plans, to get an Expeditionary unit up and running. Now, that being said, it takes time and money, lots of it. But we've tackled the first hurdle.

Next year, as my man Shadow said, we're hoping to get to MOAB when the boys at LOST go down. We are ACTIVELY seeking sponsorship to go, in the way of product or funding....what will the sponsor get? Advertising in key positions on banners, vehicles etc....at a major off-roading event in a town that eats, breathes and lives trail driving. Not to mention all the towns and people we will see on drive down there when we are in convoy. A fantastic opportunity for all involved.

However, that is all in the plans for the future. Until then, drop by and say hello and get involved. Check us out, we're a new group, but the more the merrier!

We go to local trails for training purposes, so in essence we are like a KJ club.

Hope to see you guys over there....and of course...here at LOST KJs!

Thanks for the answers. That's awesome that the Liberty is continuing to expand its' following and that it is actually getting to where it has these kind of groups. I hope it all works out for you guys and I'll definitely make sure to drop in on the website.

By the way, I was looking for Jeep videos on Youtube and found your slideshow. Very cool. Here's the link for everyone else on here who hasn't seen it. Very different scenery from Phoenix, that's for sure.

8) Glad you liked it! The one thing that people notice about our landscape in Ontario is its differences.....we have it all here.....badlands, evergreen forests, plains, rolling granite and limstone foothills and escarpments, and our summers can get to 100 F hot and our winters are as cold and as unforgiving as the Arctic.....we have a real eclectic mix here.

Thanks for the good word again! Drop by our site anytime

Man that was fun... Can't wait to head back out there later this month!!! :D 8)

Zeero, just looking at that puddle that the ATV went up to his seat in.... We should have sent Rob in... Mr submarine would have showed it a thing or two!
