I just got a email from Airlift that states the airbags in the 60844 and the 60744 are the exact same bag. The difference must be in hardware but what it is, I don't know.

Hello candpliberty

curious if you still have the airlift system(60844) in your jeep? And are you still happy with it? I currently have the 2.5 jeepin by Al's lift, and figured I would need a little bit longer air bags because of that, rather than the recommended air bags.

No problems what so ever. When I load up I put a few pounds of air in them. Empty, I keep a minimum amout to keep their shape.

Candpliberty thank you for your previous reply. I have a couple of questions. I ordered, and received the airlift 1000.

1. I'm guessing you removed the bump stop. I believe the air bag takes the place of the bump stop?

2. The kit comes with two spacers a 1/2" and a 1". Did you use none, one, or both spacers included with the kit? It seems to me that at least one of the spacers must be used to center the air induction valve?

Thanks Tony

!. yes, the bumpstop is removed.2. I used the red plastic spacer on the bottom. I just went to check the bags and in the coffee can with all the left over parts. The black one with the nubs are still unused.

Thank you for the information candpliberty. Mine are installed the same way. Used the red 1/2" spacer, removed the bump stops, and teed the air lines together rather than independently. Not sure if there is a difference with the inner diameter of the springs between OME and jeepin by Al's. I had to deflate the bag douse it with soapy water to get it into position within the spring. Anyways I'm very happy with it as is. Need to tow with it soon to see how it works with that application.

Tony
