Unfortunately for my wife and my jeep, she hit a deer on the way home from work last night. She's completely fine except for being a bit shaken up but the jeep's a bit mangled.

Since the bumper now has to be replaced I was thinking now would be the best time to put on an ARB and maybe save a few bucks since the insurance company would be paying for an OE bumper anyways. Would this be an issue for the insurance company? As far as I know the ARB is air bag compliant so I would think it wouldn't be a problem. I was just hoping someone could confirm for me.

As long as the damage is fixed you can do what you want without any penalty unless you have a insurance company that only writes checks to a bodyshop.

Oh and yes the ARB is airbag tested.

Just remember the extra weight you are adding to the front end
Need to upgrade suspension as well

I think the drivers fender/headlight area took most of the impact. The drivers 1/4 panel accordion'd a bit, headlight essentially exploded with only the back casing left on the car, fog light is gone The chorme insert cracked along with the black plastic behind it, and the bumper has a tear in it where the turn signal screws on. I think everything behind the grill is ok though.

That think hanging out of my headlight hole is my Bi-Xenon HID projector that I just installed like a month ago. Its gone too.

I am ordering a OME lift with 790's for the front anyways since I was going to put on larger tires. Already have the 265/70-16's mounted on MOABS waiting to go on so I guess the timing on this couldnt have been better

Not too bad. If I would have used insurance they might have totaled mine out, and then I'd have gotten 7k for something I have 11k in, and I would have had to redo all of my mods :banghead:
Dang, you moved from the East to the West, you'd hope to hit less deer here since they're like rabbits back East.
