Changed the tranny fluid today and went to do the same for the t-case, and the upper fill plug is completely stripped. My t-case is the NP 242J. Does anyone have or know the part number for the upper fill plug? I've been searching Google with not much ssuccess. Thanks!

More than likely, but didn't want to try too hard without having a new one ready to install.

I'll pass on my 30+ year "never failed me yet" method. You can decide if you or a shop you trust is good enough to use it.

find a bolt that's just slightly larger than the stripped hole, grind the sides of the bolt until it can be driven (without tooo much force) into the stripped hole. Then weld bolt to stripped plug, allow to cool slightly, then use the bolt's head to turn the whole mess out. You can even clean up/finish up the weld and reuse the plug with a head that'll NEVER strip again!
