I've done the CRD air box mod to my truck putting in a 3.7L gasser air box. So, does that mean I need to order a gasser snorkel kit from ARB for my CRD?

The KJ gasser air filter box uses, as I recall, the same filter element as the CRD and hooks to the turbo with the same hose. The main difference is the intake to the airbox is up above the radiator support instead of behind the grill.

ARB lists different PNs for the KJ gasser and CRD snorkels but I don't see any how to install instructions to determine if the difference is based on the OEM air filter box or something else so you may have to ask ARB or a dealer.

I bought, and installed the safari snorkel. Had the regular CRD air box, requires adaptation to that one. Not sure of the gasser. Hope the link below helps.

I have not installed a snorkel (gas or diesel) but I would assume the block off plate would be different between the kits.

See step 14 of this excellent write up.
