Hey ATH, just curious. Any idea what settings you were using to weld up those rock rails?
I burned through 3/16" with ease..... LOL

I have the Hobart Ironman 230, which has tapped settings on the voltage.. For me it's 6 on the voltage and about 38 on the wire speed using .035 amd 100% co2 (gmaw). That'll handle 3/16"-1/4", but I use that setting on the 3/16" to 1/8" joints. I just focus more on the 3/16 side and dip the puddle into the 1/8 just fast enough to prevent undercut.

Check the manufacturers settings chart on the machine you're using if it's available. Make sure you look at the correct wire diameter amd shielding gas on the chart as that'll play a big role. Like 4x4Kayak said there is a sweet app from Miller with voltage and wire speed. If the machine does t have a chart, use that for a starting point and dial it in from there.

Just got the miller app, thanks for the tip. :D

Can't wait to see what she looks like. Are you sitting at 2.5 or 3.5 with your KK? I think a KK test fit of the 32s is in need

Btw, I may be sending you a PM/Email when my funds rebuild. After this past camping trip, I may need some side rails so I can mount temp cross bars in case I ever need to load the Jeep up again. Sometimes the sky slider makes things so difficult...

I'm pretty sure 32s would fit in there with some minor trimming/pinch weld mod...the problem I have is I drive over a big arse mountain all the time. Even with the 245/75s the KK is power deficient haha. I'm at 20.75" all around, anything higher and my UCAs hit when wheeling.

Got the tires and alignment done on the Taco and it drives unbelievably nice and plush. Need to go brawl some desert now :SOMBRERO:

So far I'm really impressed with the ride as well as the quality of the Icon and Total Chaos components. I took it out and flexed it pretty good but forgot to take a tape measure to see what I got. I did remove the sway bar to get more flex and see how the handling is with the 650 lb springs... still on the fence about whether I want to leave it off or not. I'll wait for these tires to break in and decide.

21.75 is about 2.75" in front, and 1.75" in the rear. It gets so expensive when going up to 32s. Mostly thanks to having to regear :banghead:

The Taco looks good. I'd rock it   Btw, I see the KK peaking out at us haha

If stock is 18" in front and 19" in the rear, that would be a 3.75" lift in front and 2.75" in the rear.

Just went out and measured mine. Am sitting at 21.5" in front and 22" in the rear. Looks like it's sagged a bit, but the springs probably have at least 75,000 miles on them, depending on how many miles the guy who sold them to me had on them first. I could easily crank up the front, but then I would have to do something to adjust the rear to make it match. I think it still looks great and rides well, so I probably won't change it.

Yep, my bad. 20.75" is the corresponding height. That's what he mentioned that he has. I'm at 3.5" in front and 2.5" in the back(21.5" front and rear).

I might know a member who has some HD springs in the works *coughcough* because my rears are way too sagged for the amount of tire I have now.

That looks awesome, Morgan!
If you're a fisherman, I've heard fishing rod holders are pretty easy to fab up in case you need any ideas of what to do next.
