The KK uses a unibody/frame combo to save on weight. They can be tricky to work on. You need to get a full body examination because of the crumple zones. I would insist on a strip down of all plastic forward of the rear doors to be able to check the metal underneath, under the hood, axle mounts, front X-fer case mount , maybe even the trany area, and the entire front suspension system. All that stuff connects to each other starting in front of the front axle.
