sorry , can you explain me what is JB weld ? is a bicomponent glue ?

Hey Yeti,
My whistle also diminished to a point where it was barely noticeable with the vac line disconnected. At first I thought it was the boost actuator diaphram(the can on the turbo where the vac hose attaches) leaking. However after further investigation, I realized that by unplugging the vac line, the trubo was not creating as much boost and therefore not forcing backpressure out the manifold gasket leak.

PS. look for soot build up under the manifold heat sheilds and the head. I found this near the front of the manifold behind the viscous heater.

thank you very much Milo , is possible that they leak behind the motor near the firewall where the egr tube pass ?
