I've been looking for winch bumpers for my KK for some time now and every one i find is $1000+ dollars so I've started to look at bull-bars for my KK. They have a good bit of them for the KK but non of them look like there for any actual use, just for the looks of it. I've also see plenty of bull-bars for trucks that have the ability to have winches on them but there is no bull-bar with winch capability for the KK. So just wondering here will a truck bull-bar fit KK? or is there any bull bars for a KK that is sturdy enough to have a winch put on it?

Welcome to the Forum.

buy a front receiver and a winch plate. some front bull bars should still fit with extended bolts.

some cutting will be required.

front receiver:

$60 cheaper on amazon.

winch plate:

the only bull bar that might actually work is pictured below. no other bull bar will work unless is slightly modified.

Grill guards actually cause more front end damage then not having one.Worked at a bodyshop for a few years and saw that 1st hand.

$1000 for a good winch bumper for a KJ (or any other similar constructed vehicle) is the norm and prices only go up from there. Some of the better pickup bumpers cost $2500+.

ATTHEHELM...

what was mentioned before is really your only option unless you fabricate something yourself
