I've been lurking around this forum for awhile learning as much as I could about the CRD Liberty. I'm a jeep nut but until yesterday the newest Jeep I owned was a 1964 FC-170 and the oldest a CJ-2a. So the 05 Liberty I picked up yesterday is a quantum leap forward in the Jeep linage. I'm also a diesel nut, the CRD will replace my Dodge Cummins 12 valve daily driver.

I found a one owner '05 CRD Limited with 38K and perfect carfaxs report. Bought it without even driving it as I didn't want to waste the time. This thing is awesome and can't wait to start wrenching on it.

Welcome to LOST

check out the Noob guide - lots of good info
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=54207

I realize you don't have much mileage - but the timing belt is now 10 years old
manufacturers recommend 6 year change out.

I've been through the noob guide several times and I was wondering about the age of the timing belt. Thanks for pointing that out.
