Thinking of putting one on my jeep... I know I cant be the only one to have thought about this, so please any help/ advise is appreciated. How much you paid, where and what you bought, did you install it yourself or have it professionally installed, any issues..... thanks.

any aftermarket security system is not going to be PnP. so you'd need to cut and solder wires on.

the best security system out there is the one installed from factory. if you can call a blinking light a theft deterant. aftermarket ones are fantastic if soldered and wired up correctly.

my issue is i bought a jeep used with 5k on the odo and have since realised that although it has a panic button it doesnt have an actuall alarm system or anything..... with seeing as its my first seminew vehicle am worried about but it is a jeep so....had just crossed my mind... and im sure i could ask the dealership about it, id probably have the sell my soul on the black market to be able to afford such a thing....lol
