Finally got my Jeep back together but she doesn't want to return to life. When I crank the starter it turns over , stumbles a few times, and nothing happens.

It does the same thing every time. coughs two three maybe four times and then just continues to turn over until I reset the key. Seems like the injectors stop trying after a few seconds.

Would this be an issue with a sensor? I don't think it's
air in the lines.

Any codes?
Cam timing correct?
Swap over the ASD relay.

Could be a cam or crank sensor bad or a clogged fuel filter...clogged filter will not give you codes though.

Did you prime the fuel lines and purged them of air?

Sounds like air in the fuel lines to me.

What do you mean put together? If you disconnect any of the fuel line before putting together what you were doing then priming those fuel line can take some time. Do you have a lift pump? The surest way to eliminate fuel out of question is check if you are getting fuel to the rail. Next would be to eliminate known things that cause "no start" without codes: ASD relay and crank shaft position sensor.

Sounds like the cam position sensor is not plugged in or defective. at the extreme rear of the engine and easy to miss or not plug in completely. Had this happened to me after doing a hg. Threw a code but I don't remember what it was.

Not sure what "back together" means

But it is very easy to switch the cam sensor and the fuel rail sensor at the back of the engine, common mistake.
