I just bought 2 new engine mounts but my dealer and there wisdom ordered 2 passenger side ones with the metal heat shield. Does anyone know if the LH & RH mounts are the same except for the heat shield, I don't want to screw around doing a return and waiting for the new one if these ones will work fine. I can't see why they would be different?

They're the same except for the heat shield. Many people will order 2 driver's side motor mounts and swap over the shield because they are cheaper. I would be suspicious that the dealer did this to swindle you out of more money.

You can install mount with heat shield on driver side if you can fit it without taking the heat shield off. They are identical internally.

Thanks, I just took a shield off and installed them, My old ones were shot as they rattled when shook, the new ones don't make a sound. Now I will be curious to see how much quieter the Jeep will be, it was making some weird rattling sounds before that were not engine related, thinking it probably was the broken mounts.
