Interior lights don't turn off

After replacing my battery, the interior lights stayed on the whole time while driving. They don't turn off, neither automatically, nor manually.
When I turn off the engine, the interior lights turn off after 8 minutes.
I ran a DTC scan and code U1421 showed up. I cleared it and now it doesnt show up again.
Interior lights stay on while the Engine is on. What could it be?

The left stalk on the steering wheel that turns the headlights ON/OFF also has a rotating switch that dims the interior lights.
If this switch is rotated all the way in one direction the interior lights come ON and stay on always! :wink:

I'll check if that could be the cause. You might be right...

This has caught many people out....probably somewhere in the User Manual if you managed to find where they put the User Manual

You are right, it probably happened to many. All because of that dimmer...
