Euro elbow is on, fits perfect. Much much cleaner than the factory elbow, and easier to take off.

Looks very OEM. Nice work. Did you plug that EGR port on the Euro elbow with something?

Furthermore the pipe's exit is 63 mm in diameter so slightly smaller than the FCV equipped car's (65 mm from memory?), which is actually perfect for my intake.

So.....It sounds like the smaller 63mm Euro ELL is the same diameter as the CRD manifold opening? Where as the FCV equipped ELL is a littler larger diameter than the CRD manifold opening?

Yes, i got 2 of the EGR plugs from IDparts(Sasquatch?) for the intake and exhaust. So i had $70 in those, and $55 in the elbow. I never measured both of my elbow's, but the IC hose fit it just as tight as the stock elbow so it can't be much smaller.

I bought one of these ELLs, also. I paid $63 shipped from the UK. I drilled the EGR port with a 59/64" bit, tapped it for 3/4" NPT and plugged it with a pipe plug.

Thanks for the information about the hose end of the intake ELL, but I think the OP (and I) are referring to the end of the ELL that bolts to the intake manifold.

Ah, re-read the post and i see that now. :banghead:

Drilling and tapping for a plug is a good idea, i was hoping to do that or take it somewhere and get the port cut off and something welded in flush, but been so busy with other stuff that it never happened.
