I just wanted to let you guys in the Mid-West know about the yearly Jeepfest held by Heritage Region Jeep Alliance (www.hrja.org). We had a nice showing of 5 KJ's from Mid Atlantic chapter show up last year, and Jeepin' Al even won the show & shine for the KJ/Grand Cherokee division. The Jeepfest site is here: www.jeepfest.net

Anyone in OH with the exception of Cincy area it should only be a few hours drive there. Jeepin' Al came from Jersey across all of PA to come last year. I would love to see/meet some of you Mid West guys since you guys all run west of OH. They have been announcing some of the sponsors over at hrja.org and a new one this year is that they are giving away a set of BFG All Terrains or M/Ts!

It was a great time. There were about 6 doz KJ's there, with only 3 being from LOST. We had a great time, I won a DVD on how to Weld, which is cool since I want to learn how, and plan on it when I finally do buy a house. Anyway, They made the trail ride bigger and more technical then it was before, the mud pits were fun, and both KJ's that went through them made them w/o any issues where A LOT of CJ/YJ/TJ's were getting stuck unless they were on 35's where we went through it very easily. There was an XJ that couldn't even make it in b/c he kept hitting his front bumper on the way in to it. I did the RTI Ramp and got 455. I got a 382 last year bone stock w/o the rear swaybar. I'll get pictures up soon on my cardomain, and link them.
