Having issues getting the jeep to shift into third. Shifts from first to second fine, but will not take third until I let off. Any advice?

When's the last time you changed your fluid and filters? Start there.

The solenoid pack tends to go bad in these 545RFE Transmisions. You'll see below that I added a Transgo kit to mine when I had to replace the solenoid pack due to a problem in shifting from 2-3. (Mine actually went into Limp Mode and gave a CEL though)

Since you're not going into limp mode, and it WILL shift, I would try the cheaper route (still not entirely cheap) of changing the fluid and filters first.

The filters have been changed about 30k ago. Forgot the interval to be exact. Thanks for the reply

I think it was I. Limp mode. Messed with some sensors and it came back to life.
