Lights ON after turning OFF ???

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'd love to know how to program my 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport.
I takes about 10 minutes to turn off the lights (front Turn signal & breaks) after I turn off the car.

Any Idea?

I'm seriously not trying to insult you, but did you switch them off? The sport doesn't have automatic lights and if you're used to those, it's an adjustment to remember to turn them off when you're done. Eventually, the computer will cut the lights to save the battery if you leave then on, which would account for them going off eventually.

My 2008 has the lights stay on and I would like to at least shorten the interval

I just realized both Smiko and maumoya have Export rigs.
Not sure if the light off times can be changed in their version of the KK programming.
Excerpt from the owners manual.
The Headlight delay time is programmable on vehicles
equipped with the Electronic Vehicle Information Center
(EVIC). Headlight Time Delay

Check your owners manual for "Headlight Time Delay" and under "EVIC" for "Delay Turning Headlights Off"
"When this feature is selected, the driver can choose to
have the headlights remain on for 0, 30, 60, or 90 seconds
when exiting the vehicle. To make your selection, press
and release the FUNCTION SELECT button until “0,”
“30,” “60,” or “90” appears."

Kk sport should have auto lights... I have them factory.

My 09 Sport has auto lights, sunroof, uconnect radio(not turned on), fog lights, and other stuff included in the rocky mountain edition. There is a way to adjust the length of time the lights stay on, but never messed with it.

I don't believe the 08 KK has DRL here in the states. But I believe it is required in the Export version.
I know the 07-08 KA does not have DRL. The only way to get DRL is to convert it to Canadian programming. But once the programming is changed, it can not be changed back.
