Is there any difference between the 4.7 and 5.7 hemi TC? Im going to order an transmission off ebay out a 2012 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 with 18k miles but im seeing transmission out of a 2012 Ram 4.7 with 1k miles. I went on Mopar and cross-referenced the parts and it seems the 5.7 and 4.7 share the same torque converter.

I believe 2011 was the last year of the 545rfe. I would not get anything newer than a 2009-2010. I put a 545rfe out of a 2011 Dodge 1500 and had issues with the VB and solenoid pack not jiving with my 06 CRD TCM causing limp mode.

2012 it was rebadged to a 65rfe, but otherwise identical to a 545rfe, just different programing. I have cross-referenced parts on the 2012 to older models. I think like you, I will have to put in the white plug solenoid pack and maybe swap out the whole valve body. I am 95% sure it will work without issues if I replace one or both of those things.

Any more recent reports from those who have installed a Hemi TC? Mine's in the shop now and I'll have to make some decisions soon. I don't want to spend on a Suncoast, so it's pretty much the Euro or Hemi (or maybe Florida Torque Convertors, depending on price quoted). I'm not sure how the shop will feel about my request to install the "wrong" TC if I go with the Hemi (they might not want to warranty the work if I go that route).

I have the FT Eco Tune.

I installed one Florida billet with the stock vane angle, and it works great. The hemi I put in my daily driver shudders, but I think it's the buzzing solenoid pack or a bad connection, as I have the upgraded pump

Can you point me to the part number of the Florida TC you installed? Or was it a custom build?

I just called the guy and he has the stock billet for about $300, and the hemi for about $500 if I remember correctly. The one they have for about $200 on eBay might be the stock one but I'd call to verify.
