heck if they dont, my driving lights would blind anyone within a mile.

I have the hella 500's. A 100watt bulb can also be put in them.

Sorry, no night pics.

I like that mounting Jeepjeepster, how'd you do that? I'm actually looking at getting some Hella 550 Fog Lamps for my Jeep Basket 2 facing reverse and then one for each side of the basket. Mainly so when I go camping and canoeing I can have light all the way around when there usually isn't any. But the 500s look good on the front, and some extra brightness up there probably wouldn't hurt either.

I have the 100w and it does bouther some people at times
I thinl I should have put 55w on the bumpers instead and put 100w on the rack
just my experience

Technically 100W bulbs cannot be used for onroad driving in the US. They can of course be used offroad. The Hellas 500's can in IME take the 100W bulbs safely. I have the 100w bulbs in all 4 lights in my light bar (see link in my sig). You can get the H3 100W light bulbs for $4-5 at most auto parts stores.

You also need to make sure you use a relay and wire of the proper gauge to avoid a fire hazard and make sure the lamps are properly grounded.

It was an ongoing thing, I finally got them to where they are good and sturdy. Read to the end.
