I did a cone system connected to the arrival of the air box to force / facilitate the flow of air, I get a K&N air filter already

Keep an eye on your Temp. The solid sides forced the air into the Rad. With them removed, too much air may pass around the Rad.

Thanks for your advice Scare0 :D I will monitor the temperature
I have removed it ,because to get more air flow in the air box , you could see as you know in the left side it is full plastic and the entry of the airbox is hidden ,and I do not cut it ,cause I like to come back as factory
And as you know as well , Wrangler do not have the black plastic

Today relocation of the horn from front to inside engine compartment under the airbox ...just for fun
What is the sensor on left ? can I relocate it ?

From the EGR admission where going the hose to the front but no entry and /or exit ? only plastic ...again
The hose is aftermarket silicon because the factory hose is poopy ,2 times changed already

Pretty sure that's the out side air thermometer.

Basically the best spot its at is where it was originally.

To low to the ground and your reading grount temp, to high and its reading cooler air.

Keep the sensor at the air intake level where ever its moved to.

Yes thanks ,I just want to clear radiator area without electric wires ,sensor etc ,kept it closer as factory position ,but from another car , model , brand could be T° differences ,minimum 1 more or less ,it is just an information ;)

Finally got around to getting the new rotors/pads on the front on friday. (only had them sitting in their boxes for what was at least a week... maybe more haha)

Whoever put the previous pads on really goofed up... no grease anywhere and one brake pad was missing retainer clips. No wonder they were so stupidly noisey. The pads still had a lot of life but I said screw it... already bought better pads anyway.

But beyond that the bolts holding the calipers on were seized up pretty good too and it really took a lot of strength to break them loose. I found remnants of what appear to be red loctite on the threads... :dizzy: ... why god? why? on caliper mounting bolts? :furious:

The driver's side rotor had a good solid ridge formed and I had to beat that :furious: thing with a hammer for an hour along with PB blaster in order to get it to come off. The passenger's side was an absolute cake walk in comparison, though. That made me realize I need to get over myself and invest in a deadblow hammer. :)

Before I put the new rotors on I really cleaned up some collected junk on the wheel hubs, too. Inspection is on Friday. Hoping she passes... there is no reason she shouldn't.

I'm kinda disappointed in how the previous owner appears to have treated my KK (has way too much rust for a 4/5 year old car IMO) but the good news is because of my KK and this forum I have learned to do things on vehicles I never have before. I'm learning as I go and honestly I can't wait to work on her again.

The Ambient air temp sensor is used by the A/C system computers to regulate maximum A/C performance. If you relocate the sensor, your A/C may not function properly.

The OEM inter-cooler hoses are known to be weak. They tend to split on the seams. After market hoses or pipes are the way to go.

Now I get ESP BAS ,SERV 4WD lights on :banghead:

Also I back the 2 links ,but the lights are still on AND

I swapped out my plastic steering wheel for a leather one I found on ebay. Small change but it gave me an excuse to go buy more tools! (Steering wheel puller)

That's a nice lil mod. I just put a steering wheel cover on mine. Never thought of actually looking for a leather steering wheel from a Jet/Arctic/Limited or whatever haha.

Do your buttons on the wheel work? It looks just like the wheel from my girls 2012 patriot.

Yea I made sure I got one with the same button set up as my original one just to be safe but yes, all the buttons works just as they should. It was actually a very easy mod and I like it a lot more then steering wheel covers, those can make the wheel too thick imo.

I replaced the window regulator and motor on my drivers door. I still have to find the time to complete the how to for it. It took me a good 2 hours to figure out how to take it apart but only 30min to put it back together. Hopefully once the how to is complete, it will cut down on the learning curve significantly.

Finally lifted my 08 Liberty

Ive had it for about 6 months now and i've loved every minute with it.
But now after the upgrade to OME suspension i love it even more - what a change!
Worth every penny.
I love they way it handles offroad and even on the road it's better

What i installed:
- Springs - OME 927 front, 731 rear
- Shocks: front OME, rear Fox

- Added 2 rubber isolators on each spring (top & bottom) on the rear
- 0.375 clevis on front strut (i also bought the upper plates but i thought i should get the UCA from JBA first before i install those)
- TeraFlex bumpstops
