 Post subject: Jeep liberty kk ac cooling problem

Hi, i have jeep liberty kk 2009. Today i notice that my ac stop colling and after a min starts agian.(when driving)
Do the electric fan need to work when i open the ac all the time? Or maybe there is not enough gas ? ( when its working its very cold).thanks

Yes, the electric fan needs to be working every time the AC is on.
Your symptoms sound like a bad electric fan.

The electric fan is working Alternately,
Not all the time the ac is on. Is it ok?

I cannot speak for the KK but on the KJ the electric fan does not run all the time the AC is on. It's activated by a couple of sensors IIRC based on coolant temp and AC system pressure. There is nothing special about the DCJ AC system so any decent auto AC shop should be able to diagnose and fix your problem which could be as simply as a bad low pressure sensor or some such.
