I'm trying to decide what to use when I lift it, I've seen a lot of five spoke factory wheels but no luck finding photos with Rubicon wheels, I'm not sure if they'll be too busy athletically for the body lines of the liberty.

The wheels you are referring to are called Moabs.

I think they look very nice on KJs.

If those are late model 17inch wheels for a JK, you will need adapters/spacers to make them fit.
Our Libertys are 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
The newer Wranglers are 5x5.

I was looking to get a used set of JK wheels but didn't want to deal with the spacers.

What size tires are you running? Those look tall but maybe its just the width that makes them look that way.

Size is 265/70-17, I've pounded the pinch weld and cut some of the front fender, only minor rubbing at full turn.

arengant runs them - he hasn't logged in -in a while - but this was the thread (down in wheels/tires)

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=773841#p773841

I've got the older 16" style

personally - the biggest issue is that both types are 8" wide

every tire that fits under a Liberty wheel well - works better on 7" rim
