Losing that much oil that quick, if you do not have an external oil leak, more than likely you have a bad turbo seal and the oil is being sucked out by the turbo and dumped into the exhaust pipe aka blue smoke when accelerating...

That's exactly what I was thinking too. Op, check your turbo play, you may notice excessive play, if so, you have your answer.

1. I now have this weird rattling sound, and it sounds as if its coming from either the front, or the bottom rear end of the engine. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but it sounds as if a can is rattling against the engine. But it only does so when idling. Not during increased engine speed. Here's the link to the video. https://youtu.be/BBn4TA3rFeA

May want to check torque converter bolts if you haven't already. There is a rubber plug by the starter where you can access them.

Could also be a sound short against the body if the rear mount has collapsed and is allowing the transmission to sag against the body. It wouldn't take much.

You can lift the transmission and shove a couple 2" square rubber "furniture foot pads" from Home Depot into the space in the mount, and if that solves the problem... Well, there you go.

Thanks guys. I will check all these things this saturday during my day off. Hopefully one of these will be the answer to this rattling sound.

I bet 100 bucks the turbo center bearing is shot.

If it is the center bearing, then that means I can upgrade my turbo. So that means I can finally get a dual or single ball bearing turbo to have that whistle!! Time to look for a bolt in turbo thats ball bearing!!
