What have you done to your KK lately

Picked up a 3' firestik to shove on the roof (crossbar mounted) and got a door jamb mount for a rear facing led pod. Looking into ordering a pillar mounts for pods as well.

edit- just ordered a 21.5 in single row light bar to shove in the front

Skid plates.... check.

Need to source that front radiator one still however. Those nutserts for the crossmembers weren't that bad but the dang frame ones didn't want to set. The fuel tank was just a pain, although I expected that. I swear that the front one is powder coated a dark brown color though. Oh well, armor is armor.

Funny side note... my wife used to drive a Compass (just traded up to Grand Cherokee tho) and since our keys looked the same, and to tease her I labeled my like this:

While I was under working on the front plate I noticed this on my front driveshaft housing:

I think the shop who just did my gears had some fun while they had the front end out. Love knowing that's under there now.

Put a light bar in my lower grill, 21.5" single row.

Added ATH Shackle tabs to go nicely with the tabs and D rings I welded to the rear

Mounted my ATH ditch light brackets along with some LED lights. Also got my ATH Shackle Mounts primed and painted and keeping my fingers crossed that I get to install those tomorrow.

Also, Ignore the bugs... I keep them there for a scare tactic for other bugs! :goink:

Annddd... I did get to install the Shackle Mounts.

I also figured out I am missing a D Ring bolt so unless someone has an extra laying around that they want to sell me I have to pick up a new D Ring at some point.

You mean auxiliary lights, like KCs and LEDs? Lot's of people wheel at night or live in rural areas. Most of us like to turn night into day for those scenarios. Obviously using them with traffic is illegal, but not offroad, and most cops won't bother you if you treat them like high beams. They also look good

I put mine on so I can see wildlife before it darts out in front of me, had too many close calls with coyotes.

How did you mount the light bar between the shackle tabs, I haven't looked into it it yet to see how that would be done but that looks like downing I'll have to do now haha

I used the brackets that came with the light and some sturdy metal tabs to reach the metal frame.. (Kind of hard to explain sorry)

I'll try and snap some pictures tomorrow and post them for you. It was pretty simple and the way the shackle tabs mount made my light mounting even more sturdy

Installed a flowmaster super 44 muffler and ditched the resonator over the weekend, possibly welding the resonator back on as I'm not sold on the sound yet, don't want to cross into the ghetto loud category haha

Thanks! I had to replace about 100 of them at work so I brought one home along with a bunch of rolls they were gonna throw out. Works like a charm!

ATH roof rack installed. Thanks Morgan! Included a 42" curved LED light bar that I need to complete wiring on it this week. Jack and spare are getting mounted soon too.
