Hey all. So went to do an oil change on the 08 liberty and noticed a few drops near the oil pan seal and up on the front crankshaft pulley. It's dark brown and doesn't smell sweet. So I'm assuming it's oil or brake fluid. I checked to make sure the oil filter was hand tight and snugged up the oil pan bolts. Cleaned it all up. Few days later new drops. It's not a lot and there isn't any on the driveway. I can't really get a good look at all to find the source. I'm assuming it's either the oil pan seal or the front crankshaft seal.

Any ideas, experience or input would be apprileciated.

I'd like to remove the radiator, fan and coolant/wiper fluid tank so I can get a real good look at what's going on. Is there a write up somewhere?

Thanks all !

Thanks for the tip, I'll take another look in the morning. It's hard to get a good look at everything.

Yeah it's not coming from the oil pressure sensor. Im 90 percent sure it's coming from the front crankshaft pulley. Hopefully it's just the seal

Bummer. The sensor is much easier to do then the seal.
Keep us posted on how things go.
